We are five founders, bound not just by friendship but also by our roots in the same town, who came together with one shared vision — to create a digital media platform that informs, inspires, and connects. Our journey started with countless conversations, late-night brainstorming sessions, and a passion for storytelling that reflects the pulse of our times. Each of us brings a unique perspective, skill set, and creative spark, but it’s our collective energy and shared hometown spirit that drive this venture forward. Soumajit Sinha
Founding member
Soumajit Sinha holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and brings a strong foundation in storytelling to the digital media space. He began his career as a content writer at NextBigWhat, where he was responsible for driving the content business of the company and creating engaging and valuable content. Today, as Co-Founder of CivicWit, Soumajit is driven by a passion for creating insightful and impactful content. At CivicWit, Soumajit drives the vision, strategy, and content direction, ensuring the platform delivers meaningful insights and impactful narratives.

Aritrick Das
Founding member
Aritrick Das is a law student at Banaras Hindu University with a passion for connecting ideas across economics, public policy, governance, and law. Grounded in law and social sciences, he also draws from scientific reasoning and the tradition of Western rationalism to analyse how policies shape markets, foster innovation, and influence social change. At CivicWit, Aritrick combines analytical rigor with clear, engaging storytelling, making complex issues accessible and relevant. He believes that informed, reasoned discourse can bridge divides, spark curiosity, and inspire solutions grounded in evidence and equity.

Pradipta Poddar
Founding member
Pradipta Poddar is an English Literature student with a keen interest in the intersections of language, culture, politics, and identity. Drawing on literary analysis and critical theory, she explores how narratives shape public discourse, influence social structures, and reflect collective memory. With a grounding in the humanities, Pradipta brings clarity and nuance to complex cultural questions. At CivicWit, Pradipta is responsible for generating social media lead.

Sayan Ghosal
Founding member
Sayan Ghosal is a certified Data Analyst with expertise in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and Python, supported by over two years of accounting experience in Tally ERP, GST, and financial reporting. Holding a B.A. in Political Science from Malda College, Sayan is also certified in AI-powered Excel and AI Dashboards in Power BI. He combines analytical skills with financial acumen to support strategic decision-making and business growth through accurate, actionable data insights.
